Joint Pin

The joint pin is a key component for connecting two scaffolding units in a relatively short distance along vertical direction with a usual length of 250-300mm. There are round cavities on both opposite sides of the cylinder body. After being inserted with the standard, screwed bolts pass through the cavities of the vertical standard and joint pin to fix it, ensuring a stable connection between the vertical standards and forming an integrated vertical support structure. The load borne by the upper vertical standard is evenly transferred to the lower vertical standard, thereby ensure the overall stability and safety of the scaffolding. Seamless steel tubes or cast steel are generally used, which have high strength and toughness that can withstand large loads. 

Usage Classification

●Height adjustment: At top or bottom of standard to adjust the ultimate height to ensure that the scaffolding top and the working platform over it Or the bottom is flush.

●Transitional connection: Used for the connection between  standards of different diameters or with components, act as a transition to ensure continuous force transmission.

●Support and reinforcement: Fixed at ends of ledges or diagonal braces to enhance support length or rigidity , for particular in areas with large loads.
