The diagonal braces are important components for enhancing the stability of the scaffolding, which are usually made of Ø48mm steel tubes, and equipped with rotating C-shaped parts on both ends with wedge-shaped fastener. They can be fixed in the star-shaped cavities of the vertical standard and connected at an inclined angle between the vertical standards and horizontal ledgers, providing additional strength and stability to against wind loads and horizontal forces. The installation and quantity are determined according to factors involving in the height, span, and load conditions of the scaffold.
● Transverse layout: Set along the scaffolding horizontal direction, connecting vertical standard or horizontal ledger, enhancing the stability horizontally.
● Longitudinal layout: Set along the scaffolding height direction, connecting vertical standard and horizontal ledger, forming a triangle structure within vertical lateral space.
